Alice O'Malley

Faculty since 2009

Alice O’Malley is a New York photographer whose portraits comprise an archive of downtown's demimonde. Exhibitions include PS1/MoMA, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and ICP Museum; publishing includes The New Yorker, NYTimes, Vogue, and Document.

Idris Talib Solomon

Award-winning Photojournalist and Art Director

Idris Talib Solomon is a multidisciplinary creative and host of The Black Shutter Podcast, with expertise in design, photography, video, and advertising.

Ethan Hill

Award-winning Environmental Portrait Photographer

Ethan Hill is an environmental portrait photographer with 20+ years in magazines, including Rolling Stone, NYT, and Wired, while documenting gay men's lives in his art.

Gaia Squarci

Award-winning Photographer and Cinematographer

Gaia Squarci, National Geographic grantee with work twice awarded at POYi. Clients include The New York Times and Vogue, among others.

Gail Fletcher

Photo Editor | Visual Storytelling

Gail Fletcher, Photo Editor at The Guardian, shapes visual stories. Formerly at National Geographic, her work with photographers and editors earned recognition from Pictures of the Year and ASME.

Kyra Taveras

Educator | Alternative Process Photographer

Kyra Taveras specializes in expired film, cyanotypes, and tintypes, creating mystical imagery. She collaborates with ICP, Penumbra Foundation, and FujiFilm.

Frank Franca

Artist & Educator | Founder of Electric Blanket

Frank Franca, a Cuban-born artist, is known for his international exhibitions and public art projects like #helloicp. Franca has guest lectured all over the world.

A seasoned photographer with over 30 years of global experience, Dario's portfolio captures iconic musicians, artists, and actors with authenticity and emotional depth.
