Smita Sharma is an award-winning photojournalist documenting human rights issues, gender violence, trafficking, and environmental stories in the Global South through long-form visual narratives. She is a TED fellow, Speaker and an IWMF reporting fellow. Her work has been published in various places like National Geographic magazine, The New York Times, Human Rights Watch, Die Zeit, TIME magazine amongst many others and exhibited globally including at the UN Headquarters in New York and Geneva.
