Group Admission
Groups of 8 or more can receive a discounted ticket and expedited entry by booking in advance. Please review the following guidelines when booking your group visit:
- Group Admission Rates are available to visit ICP's museum during gallery hours.
- There is a minimum of 8 people required for a group visit with at least 1 chaperone.
- All reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.
- Payment is required in advance.
- For group visits, there is a $10 per person charge with a minimum of 8 people.

Museum Educator Guided Tours
ICP offers Museum Educator led private tours to groups of all ages from pre-K to senior citizens. To book a Museum Educator led private exhibition tour please complete the form below and ICP will reach out in 1-3 business days.

Class Visits
ICP welcomes class and field trips to ICP’s Museum.
- Instructors can reserve group admission rates by contacting [email protected].
- To reserve a museum educator-led tour, please fill out this form.
- All visitors 14 and under can enter ICP free of admission but must be accompanied by a chaperone for a group visit.
- Currently, students from Columbia University receive complimentary admission to ICP’s Museum.
- ICP currently does not offer reciprocal admission to any other college and/or university students.
Museum Education Policies
Reservations
Reservations are required for all group visits at least two weeks in advance. A calendar of our current and upcoming exhibitions indicates the opening and closing dates for each and can be found on our website.
Payment For Group Tours
Payment is due in advance. Checks should be made out to the “International Center of Photography” and mailed to ICP Public Programs; 79 Essex Street, New York, NY 10002. Payment by credit card can be arranged by calling 212.857.0057.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your tour please contact 212.857.0005 as soon as possible.
- Group Admission: Self-Guided tours cancelled less than three days in advance will be charged 50% of their invoiced fee. Groups that do not give 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
- Museum Educator Tours: Museum Educator tours that are cancelled with less than three days’ notice will be charged a $100 fee. Groups that do not give 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. If the group is over 15 minutes late for a Guided Tour, your reservation will be considered cancelled and you will be charged in full.
General Museum Information
Directions
ICP's entrance is 84 Ludlow Street located between Broome Street and Delancey Street. Our entrance is wheelchair accessible. ICP’s new integrated center is located just steps away from the Essex/Delancey subway station serving the J, M, Z and F lines. ICP is also walkable from the Grand Street Subway Station via the B and D lines. By bus, visitors can take the M9 to Essex Street, M14A to Essex/Delancey, or the B39 to Delancey Street.
Arrival
Please enter ICP at 84 Ludlow Street. The teacher and/or group leader should check in at the admissions and information desk while the group waits outside or in designated areas. Please keep clear of the main entrance.
Lunch
ICP’s café space is open during museum hours for your convenience, however there is limited seating. If you need to enjoy bagged lunches for a large party, please email [email protected]. For more food options we encourage visiting Essex Market, a staple in the LES community for over 100 years. Located across from the ICP Essex Street entrance, Essex Market is home to local vendors with a legacy in the community and more.
