Ruby Thelot is a designer, artist and cyberethnographer based in New York. He is a professor of Design Media Theory at NYU. He is the founder of the award-winning creative research and design studio 13101401 inc. His work focuses on the interactions between humans and artificial intelligence, images, memory and the implications of being-on-line. His work has been shown internationally in venues such as the National Communication Museum in Melbourne and Interaccess in Toronto. He is the author of “Stonemilker” (Nueoi Press, 2022) and “A Cyberarchaeology of Checkpoints” (Irrelevant Press, 2023). He holds a Masters in Design and Technology from the Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor in Business from McGill University.
