Ibi Ibrahim

Ibi Ibrahim is a Yemeni-American visual artist, educator, and publisher based in New York. A graduate of the International Center of Photography, his work explores immigration, gender, and queer Arab identity, and is held in public collections including the British Museum, the New York Public Library, and the Arab American National Museum. He is the founder of Makan Press, an independent photobook imprint dedicated to thoughtful, artist-led publishing with a focus on emerging and underrepresented voices. At ICP, he teaches contemporary photography from the Middle East.
