Corey Torpie is a Queens, NY based photographer whose work centers on documentary storytelling and the theme of community. With more than 18 years of experience photographing weddings, she brings a thoughtful, observant approach rooted in honesty, intimacy, and narrative.

Beyond her wedding work, Corey is deeply committed to building community through photography and education. Most recently, she served as a lead teacher in the community programs at the International Center of Photography at The Point in Hunts Point, where she taught darkroom photography to preteens.

Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, The Washington Post, New York Magazine, and other publications. She currently serves as the staff photographer for U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
