Alexis Lambrou

Alexis is an arts educator working in New York City Public Schools. She teaches high school photography, printmaking, media literacy, and bookmaking. She has previously worked with teens at Sarah Lawrence College’s Social Justice Collective, The New York Public Library, the International Center of Photography, Bard High School Early College Manhattan, Brooklyn Community Arts and Media High School, New York City's Parks and Rec Centers, Photoville NYC, and the Sioux YMCA on the Cheyenne River Reservation. From 2012-2019 she managed Magnum Foundation's Photography and Social Justice Fellowship. Her personal work can be found in Art Education, Education Weekly, the New York Times, and Anthropology Now. She holds an MA in Art Education from NYU.
