Coronavirus/COVID-19 Updates

Today, the International Center of Photography is taking further action to prioritize the safety of our community. As we’ve been closely monitoring COVID-19 developments and due to municipal delays in testing, we are taking an abundance of caution and will temporarily close our school facility beginning Sunday, March 15 until further notice. As previously announced, our museum and our space at Mana Contemporary are now temporarily closed.

While we do not have any confirmed cases in the ICP community, we have been notified by someone who may have been in contact with a person recently diagnosed with COVID-19.

As we are taking extra precautions, our full-time, part-time, and Continuing Education classes are currently being held online. As planned, we will proceed with deep cleaning at our Essex and Long Island City locations. We will close our ICP Bard-MFA studios in Long Island City on Sunday, March 15 and postpone all solo exhibitions at the studios.

ICP students should monitor their email for the latest updates on their class schedules.

Many of our employees have begun to work remotely. While ICP’s library reference desk staff are offsite, our team is available for consultation via [email protected]. A detailed guide of online resources is available here.

We are grateful for your ongoing support while our museum and school spaces are temporarily closed. We wish you all good health and safety.
