Embedded and working for TIME, Yuri Kozyrev created intimate and uncensored images of the American-led occupation of Iraq that represent one of the war’s most important photojournalistic records. Kozyrev’s pictures, seen in part from the perspective of the Iraqis, brought the reality of warfare to a broad international audience.
