Legendary editor and publisher Harold Evans has been a champion of photographers and photography throughout his incomparable career. He was Editorial Director and Vice Chairman of U.S. News & World Report, The New York Daily News, The Atlantic Monthly and Fast Company. He also previously served as President and Publisher of Random House trade group from l990 to 1997, Founding Editor of Condé Nast Traveler magazine, and editor of London’s The Sunday Times and The Times. His books on photography and design include Editing and Design, Pictures on a Page, and Eyewitness to History. He has published many celebrated works including Richard Avedon, Photo Discovery, Requiem and The Kurds, and The American Century
