Snap the Sweep: Youth-Led Photography & Community Action
Meet the high school students behind Snap the Sweep: NYC at Work, a youth-led initiative using photography to celebrate NYC sanitation workers and bring attention to the people who keep the city running. Following a short presentation, participants will head into the Lower East Side for a photo walk and neighborhood clean-up, combining photography with community action.
This event will bring students out during the Open House New York Weekend and Fujikina NYC 2026, the Lower East Side photo festival sponsored by FUJIFILM that will be centered at ICP.
This is a free event. ICP's museum will also be free for the Open House. Fujikina events across the Lower East Side and at ICP are managed through their website.
