Alice Sachs Zimet is a collector, advisor, and educator who began to collect photography in 1985. Zimet is Chair, Collections Committee (formerly the Acquisitions Committee), International Center of Photography; Chair, Photography Curatorial Committee, the Harvard Art Museums; and board member, Magnum Foundation.

Zimet is President, Arts + Business Partners, a consulting group working with photographers, photo collectors and corporate sponsors. As Director, Worldwide Cultural Affairs, The Chase Manhattan Bank (20 years), Zimet generated over $2 billion in business using the arts as a strategic marketing tool. She specializes in cultural marketing and communications.
