Daniel Terna Discusses His Thesis Project

Terna talks to a fellow ICP-Bard MFA student about his upcoming solo thesis exhibition

Daniel Terna, 2015 ICP-Bard MFA candidate, discusses his approach, influences, inspirations, and work with first year MFA student Ivana Larossa. Each year, first year students in ICP's MFA program interview second years as they prepare their thesis shows. Terna, a Brooklyn native and co-founder of 321 Gallery, explains why he moved toward using video, his artistic process, and the influence of his father—a 91-year old Holocaust survivor— on his work.

I tend to try to take pictures with a video camera.
