ICP x ROAR: A Master Class in Learning About the Photography Market and the Art of Collecting

February 2, 2027 (6:00PM – 8:00PM ET)
Tickets Starting at 65.00

Collecting photography is one of the more approachable corners of the art market–and one of the most opaque if you do not know where to look. This salon discussion opens up that world, with gallerists and photography advisors walking through what actually matters when building a collection: how to read an auction result, which fairs and gatherings are worth your time, how a market for a given photographer or movement takes shape, and how to start buying with confidence rather than guesswork.

As longer lives create more time, more means, and more appetite for serious collecting, this session offers the kind of grounded, insider guidance that usually requires hiring a private advisor–useful whether you are building your first collection or your fiftieth.

This discussion will be held in ICP’s third floor exhibition galleries.
