The 2025 Faculty and Staff showcase opened in October at The School at ICP.
The artists were selected by a jury of five members from across the institution, including:

“I approached the show with a focus on ICP’s foundation of highlighting concerned photography. While doing so, I wanted to present the works in a way that engages and educates the audience. The staff showcase is unique due to the show being placed throughout the school and offices,” said malaika newsome, who oversaw the layout and structure of the exhibition.
The exhibition displays works with themes revolving around community, connection to space and place, vulnerability, lost cultural heritage, and the relationship humans share with nature. The show will be on display through 2027.

“I placed works that revolve around similar themes together so they could be in direct conversation with each other. There is a wall on the second floor with works by Ismail Ferdous, Danielle Ezzo, Aleyana Mitchell, and Heather Lynch that explore themes surrounding cultural heritage, memory, and artifacts,” newsome explained. “I am very thankful for the support from Logan Bellew, Sara Ickow, Carter Guthrie, Larson Harley, Andrea Martucci, and Silvia Saponaro.”
