ICP’s Nayland Blake Receives Prestigious MacDowell Fellowship

The International Center of Photography congratulates ICP-Bard MFA Chair Nayland Blake, along with MFA faculty members Mary Lum and Kambui Olujimi, for receiving 2018 MacDowell Colony fellowships.

The prestigious 111-year-old MacDowell Colony Fellowship is based in Petersborough, New Hampshire and offers artists working in a range of artistic disciplines studio space and other support for several weeks over the summer.

Over 8,000 artists to date have been supported in residence at MacDowell Colony, including the winners of at least 83 Pulitzer Prizes, 803 Guggenheim Fellowships, 101 Rome Prizes, 30 National Book Awards, 30 Tony Awards, 31 MacArthur Fellowships, 10 Grammys, 8 Academy Awards, and 8 National Medals for the Arts.
