Sarah Blesener (PJ ’16) was awarded The Alexia $20,000 Professional Grant and a $30,000 CatchLight Fellowship for her project “Toy Soldiers,” which she will use to document rising nationalism among youth in the U.S.
Nathalie Guio (GS ’15), Verónica Puche (ICP-Bard MFA ’16 GS ’13), and Miguel Winograd (PJ ’16) curated Notas al Futuro at Espacio el Pasajero in Bogotá, Colombia, which was on view April 26 through May 13.
The exhibition featured the work of 24 ICP alumni, who were featured on the @icp_alumni Instagram account.
Kristoffer Axen’s (GS ’09) solo exhibition Secret Life was on view from April 20 through May 13 at the Domeij Gallery in Stockholm, Sweden.
Akshay Bhoan’s (GS ’15) project “The Problem of Excessive Zeal and Deceptive Media Halo,” a representation of the hundreds of thousands of Islamic State–associated Twitter accounts that have been deleted, was on view on the Poster Wall at the ICP Museum.
Maria Bilbao Herrera’s (GS ’12) solo show Autopoiesis was on view from March 12 through April 24 at the Gallery EspacioMAD in Caracas, Venezuela.
Joseph Desler Costa’s (ICP-Bard MFA ’15) solo exhibition Particle Paradise was on view from March 22 through April 30 at the Foley Gallery in New York, NY.
Annika Jonsson’s (GS ’95) solo exhibition Difficult Shapes & Passive Rhythms was on view at the Swedish Church in New York, NY from March 4 through March 30.
Rhea Karam’s (GS ’07) work is included in the group exhibition Action at a Distance at the Angela Meleca Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, which is on view through May 27.
Adriane Ohanesian (PJ ’10) was named one of PDN’s 30 New and Emerging Photographers to Watch.
Kalen Na'il Roach’s (GS ’13) solo exhibition King Within a King was on view from April 14 through May 7 at the Deli Gallery in Long Island City, Queens, NY. Roach was interviewed about his work in Paper Journal.
Cédric von Niederhäusern (PJ ’16) was named Emerging Photographer in the Spring 2017 issue of PDN.
