Pablo Íñigo Argüelles

Pablo Íñigo Argüelles (born in Puebla, Mexico) is a New York–based photographer and writer. A graduate of the International Center of Photography’s Creative Practices program, his work explores the relationship between people and space, with a particular focus on cities and the ways they shape memory and everyday life. His photographic practice is rooted in analog and documentary approaches, while his writing centers on nonfiction and interviews.
As a writer, his work has appeared in El UniversalEste PaísOri Magazine, and Esquire. His photography has been featured in numerous publications, including Revista Ideal and The New York Times Magazine, and he has presented solo exhibitions in New York, Switzerland, and Mexico City. In 2017, he founded Proyecto Análogo—an initiative that began by rescuing and restoring film cameras and gradually became the core of his creative practice, bringing writing and photography together as complementary ways of reading the world. He currently writes “Registro,” a monthly photography column for Este País.
