This exhibition is a result of 55 years of Lou Bernstein's love affair with picture taking in and around the streets of his own neighborhood. It includes his studies at the New York Aquarium, sensitive and graphic imagery documenting the behavior of sea life and their unique moments of communication with man; images of life from the 1940s to the 1960s; the activity of the Fulton Fish Market; rooftop life in the New York City; and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Curated by Cornell Capa.
