As this year of intense change, pain, and uncertainty comes to close, join photographer Tyler Mitchell and ICP Curator at Large Isolde Brielmaier for an evening reflecting on the year and celebrating the closing of Tyler’s first US exhibition, I Can Make You Feel Good, through films, visual materials, and conversations with friends and family, during the third iteration of Mitchell’s program series Night at the Cinema.

During the early weeks of lockdown, Tyler Mitchell launched Night at the Cinema, a 24-hour virtual streaming fest hosted on his website, icmyfg.com. The fest included live screenings of feature films, short films, and music videos curated by Tyler Mitchell, an interactive chat, and artist conversations centered around the themes "Americana / I Can Make You Feel Good,” held in April and “Sanctuaries” held in May.

Join us for the third iteration, Night at the Cinema 3: Conversations and Reflections, held alongside the closing of Mitchell’s first US exhibition, I Can Make You Feel Good, on view at the International Center of Photography. Mitchell will screen a curated assortment of short films, share visual materials and be in conversation with artists as they process the events of this year, promote collective healing and hold space for an optimistic future.
