Join us at ICP this fall for the Naomi Rosenblum ICP Talks Photographer lecture series featuring environmentalist photographer and filmmaker Pierpaolo Mittica. Encompassing the scope of his career including his coverage of Chernobyl which will be highlighted in a new documentary, Mittica will be joined in conversation with ICP Creative Director David Campany.
This program is being offered both in person at ICP, located on NYC's Lower East Side, and online. Current ICP students and faculty of the One-Year Certificate programs are automatically enrolled and invited to attend all lectures.

Naomi Rosenblum was one of the leading photography historians of her generation and the author of A World History of Photography and A History of Women Photographers. About the Speakers:
Pierpaolo Mittica is an Italian humanist and environmental photographer/filmmaker based in Italy. He received the Masters Program at CRAF diploma in conservation, technique and history of photography in 1990, studying with, among others, Charles – Henri Favrod, Naomi Rosenblum and Walter Rosenblum, who is his spiritual father in photography. His photographs have been exhibited all over Europe, United States and China, and published in Italian and international newspapers and magazines among them: l'Espresso, Internazionale, Alias del Manifesto, Vogue Italia, Corriere della Sera, Repubblica, Panorama, Il Sole 24 ore, Oggi, Le Scienze, Vanity Fair, Photomagazine, Daylight Magazine, Days Japan International, Asahi Shinbum, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Spiegel, Die Zeit, Wired USA, Asian Geo, China Newsweek, National Geographic USA.
David Campany is Creative Director of the International Center of Photography, New York. He has worked worldwide with institutions including MoMA New York, Tate, Whitechapel Gallery London, Centre Pompidou, Le Bal Paris, ICP New York, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, The Photographer’s Gallery London, ParisPhoto, PhotoLondon, The National Portrait Gallery London, Aperture, Steidl, MIT Press, Thames & Hudson, MACK and Frieze.
