This session of Photobook Club is hosted by Nick Sethi, a bookmaking artist and photographer behind Miu Miu x Met Gala, HommeGirls' Maya Hawke in Prada, and the Gap Studio campaign with Lila Moss. The selection included Comme des Garçons' special art booklets, Ishiuchi Miyako's rare From Hiroshima, and the pop-defining Lady Gaga: Critical Mass Fashion.
The Photobook Club takes place in the ICP library on the last Saturday of each month. This event is free to attend with RSVP.
About the Artist
Nick Sethi is an artist working a in variety of mediums, predominantly photography and installation. Sethi takes a holistic approach to his work, where personal projects, books, and commissioned work complement and reinforce each other. His is mainly concerned with the spiritual processes of acute attention, connection, and respect, and how it manifests in art and image making. Sethi also operates an artist-run space and curatorial project from his studio on the Bowery named Dakota.
About ICP Library
ICP’s reading library contains over 20,000 books and periodicals. The reading room is currently open to the public during ICP’s monthly Photobook Club, to researchers by appointment, and to members during Library Member Hours.
