Join us for the opening of 2019 ICP-Bard MFA candidate Lauren Taubenfeld’s solo exhibition, Mental Images, at the ICP-Bard MFA Studios in Long Island City.

In Mental Images, Taubenfeld extracts her own traumas and experiences. She uses photography as a mapping tool to quite literally stitch fragments of repressed memories back together to make sense of her past. Using said memories, she aims to overcome such trauma.
