Family Art Hour: Sun Prints and Compositions

Imagine and create your own playful artworks inspired by our exhibition, Yto Barrada: Part-Time Abstractionist during this hands-on all ages family workshop. Learn about Barrada’s photographic practice during an introductory tour of the show and then join the hands-on activity to make your own cellophane drawings and sun prints. All ages 4 and up are welcome. 

Yto Barrada uses found materials and alternative processes to examine the social, political, and industrial structures that have and continue to shape society. Learn more about all exhibitions on view. 

Parents and guardians must remain with their children during the activity. Museum entry is free August 17-19 for World Photography Day!
