Dyke Beer was founded by two Dykes in Brooklyn as a way to pay homage to lost lesbian bars and to create new spaces for queer women. It was founded by Loretta Chung and Sarah Hallonquist in 2020. Dyke Beer has produced over 100 events for the queer community.
