ICP Spotlights: Carrie Mae Weems

ICP Spotlights is an annual luncheon honoring women seminal in visual arts, using photography or film. In 2015, ICP presented the Spotlights Award to American artist Carrie Mae Weems. Weems incorporates photographs, text, fabric, audio, and video in her work, which tackles themes including families, gender, identity, and politics.
