Born in 1987 in Constantine, Youcef Krache lives and works in Algiers. A self-taught photographer and member of the 220 collective, his work focuses on urban spaces, landscapes, and the people who inhabit them. In addition to his photographic practice, he also works as a director of photography. He is also linked to La Chambre Claire, a publishing house specializing in photography, a film production company, and a space for learning, meeting, and exhibiting. Through this structure, he actively contributes to the promotion of local talents and the publication of photographic books, such as Triangles of Views by Fethi Sahraoui and Dry By Abdo Shanan. He has also produced Bin u Bin, Elsewhere the Borders, film by Mohamed Lakhdar Tati.
