Sonam Choekyi Lama
Sonam Choekyi Lama is a documentary photographer and filmmaker from the remote high mountains of the Nepal Himalayas. Her earlier short film, The Snow Leopard Calling (2020), received recognition at international festivals, including Jackson Wild and IWFF Montana. Her practice centers on environmental justice, grounded in stories from remote communities across Nepal and the Himalayas.
