Rehan Miskci
Rehan Miskci is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her recent works are concerned with how photographic archives function at the intersection of personal and collective memory. Her work has been exhibited in venues including Transmitter Gallery, Brooklyn; Fridman Gallery, New York; DEPO, Istanbul. She is the first place winner of Baxter Street Camera Club of New York’s Annual Competition (2015). Miskci is an alumna of Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2019) and is the recipient of the Bronx Museum’s Artist in the Marketplace Fellowship (2019). Miskci was also awarded a NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) Fellowship in Photography (2019). She was supported by Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation to complete a residency at Cité des Arts in Paris, France. (2019) She has taught in the BFA Photography department at Parsons School of Design in 2022 -2023 and is currently a keyholder resident at the Lower East Side Printshop
