Julie Pochron

Julie Pochron is a visual artist working in photography, an educator, color printer, and owner of Pochron Studios, an exhibition print studio in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently on the faculty at Pratt Institute and ICP. She has lectured at Parsons, RISD, Rutgers, and SVA. Her artwork has been shown and collected throughout the United States and internationally. Current works were included in Her Wherever, an exhibition at Halsey McKay Gallery curated by Sara Greenberger Rafferty and Sara VanDerBeek in the fall of 2016. In the spring of 2021 selected images from her new body of work Works of an Invocation were exhibited by Soft Network as a part of the Interior Scroll or What I Did on My Vacation. As owner and head printer at Pochron Studios she works with artists such as Anne Collier, Eileen Quinlan, Sara VanDerBeek, Matt Keegan, Leigh Ledare, and Leslie Hewitt along with arts intuitions such as the Guggenheim, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art printing exhibitions.
