Jaclyn Licht
Jaclyn Licht is a documentary photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is drawn to uncovering moments of spontaneity on the street, in governmental institutions, and everywhere in between.Following four years of working at the United Nations, Jaclyn developed a long-term documentary project at ICP, "Unveiling Diplomacy," on the sometimes-comedic, sometimes-tumultuous behind-the-scenes moments at UN Headquarters. She continues to document UN affairs, and regularly reports on issues ranging from migration to climate mobility - all of which illuminate the human impact of high-level political decisions. She is also a member of the New York City Street Photography Collective.Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, CNN, El Pais, Le Temps, and others. Jaclyn graduated from the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism program at the International Center of Photography in 2022. She also graduated from Brown University with a BA in English and Public Policy.
