Get Tickets Free Event

British documentary photographer Martin Parr is one of the most influential photographers of his generation, with a visual wit and social insight that are instantly recognizable. Alongside his photography however, he has been a vital advocate for the medium through his activities as a curator, a celebrator of the work of other imagemakers, a collector, and a champion of the importance of the photobook. In this discussion, hosted by David Campany, managing director of programs at ICP, Parr discusses his roles as advocate that have made him much more than a photographer.

The lecture will take place from 1 to 2 PM EST.

Tickets are $12 for general audience and $7 for ICP members.
