Join us at the ICP Museum (250 Bowery) on Saturday, April 28 from 10 AM to 6 PM for the Downtown Culture Walk, a self-guided walking tour presented by the SoHo Arts Network (SAN), highlighting the non-profit art spaces in the SoHo and downtown neighborhoods.

The ICP Museum will offer $4 off general admission tickets and a 10% discount in the ICP Museum shop throughout the day. Come view our current exhibitions, Edmund Clark: The Day the Music Died and Then They Came for Me: Incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II, and relax with a snack or beverage at the Capa Café.

See the map and programming brochure here via Art in America to learn more about the walkthroughs, talks, open houses, and other programming being offered that day from our partner institutions.

The Downtown Culture Walk is supported by Art in America.

Praise for The Day the Music Died

“In much of Clark’s work is a pervasive sense of dread, exposing how government secrecy sustains long-term damage on people and history. His collaborations with media outlets and government officials reveal the integral role that photography plays in the freedom of information.” – Musée Magazine

“It’s possible to feel a sense of calm from the pictures—as well as the horror those objects represent.” – The Guardian

Praise for Then They Came for Me

“Made by some of this country’s greatest photographers, including Dorothea Lange and Ansel Adams, these images…are expertly staged black-and-white studies of family and community, patriotism and the persistence of dignity in the face of arbitrary and dehumanizing injustice.” – Washington Post

“…everyone who calls themselves a proud American should really see this exhibit.” – The Phoblographer

About the SoHo Arts Network

The SoHo Arts Network (SAN) fosters collaboration between non-profit arts institutions and artistic leaders within the area of New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. Founded in 2014 by non-profit arts organizations, the network celebrates the rich history of SoHo’s unique creative community and advances the neighborhood’s continued cultural contributions to the lives of both residents and visitors. Further, it provides an important platform to increase awareness of the neighborhood’s continued importance as an arts district.
