Guy Bourdin is a French fashion photographer recognized for his provocative, often confrontational images. He trained with Man Ray in Paris in the 1950s, also exploring painting and drawing. His first fashion editorial was published in the French edition of Vogue in 1955. His association with Vogue continued into the 1980s. Bourdin has shot ad campaigns for Versace, Ungaro, and Chanel, among others.
