Adrianna Ault

Adrianna Ault is a photographer originally from New Orleans, now based in the Hudson Valley, following many years of practice in New York City. Her work is rooted in the creation of photobooks as essential mediums for visual storytelling, bridging universal human threads through the intimate lens of her own experiences.

Her first monograph, Levee, was published by VOID in November 2023. She is also the author of two self-published artist books: The Impeded Stream and Through a River Darkly. Adrianna has collaborated on several acclaimed publications, including Township (TIS Books, 2017), a collaborative project with Tim Carpenter, Raymond Meeks, and Brad Zellar that explored the auction of her family’s farm in central Ohio.

Adrianna’s work has been exhibited widely in the United States and internationally, including presentations at Paris Photo, Casemore Gallery (San Francisco), NYCSPC Gallery (Brooklyn), and Prairie Gallery (Charlotte). In 2024, she presented a solo exhibition of her photographs from Levee at the Center for Photography at Woodstock (CPW) in Kingston, NY, and her work was featured in the 2026 Center for Photography at Woodstock Biennial. She is currently represented by Prairie Gallery.

An active educator, Adrianna holds an MFA from the Hartford International Photography School. She teaches workshops, college courses, and offers mentorship to students both domestically and abroad. She is currently an instructor at the Center for Photography at Woodstock (CPW) and is leading an Intuitive Photography workshop at the Palm Tree Workshop in Athens, Greece in the fall of 2026.
