Picket Violence - CIO Pickets at the Union Switch and Signal Company's Swissvale plant near Pittsburgh, Pa., attempt to turn over an auto containing the plant manager and a vice president who tried to crash picket lines.

Word reaches Jon Lombardo, union steward, that management is trying to pull something. He has consulted with management on the new tank, but had not foreseen the reaction of loaders Dell Aguila and Ciciuto who threaten to walk out

Strikers -Picketing of Key System cabarns started at 4 a.m. yesterday, with the pickets in uniform. A union spokesman said pickets were ordered to wear uniforms because the strike leaders didn't want "outsiders" joining in any demonstrations.
