Stephen Ferry has worked for almost 30 years as a non-fiction photographer, collaborating with publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times and GEO. He has also collaborated extensively with Human Rights Watch as a visual investigator . His work engages issues of human rights, cultural survival and environmental conservation.

Stephen is a member of the faculty of the International Center of Photography (NYC), and the Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano (Cartagena, Colombia).
