Mira Dayal

Mira Dayal is an artist, critic, and editor based in New York. She is a co-organizer of the artist residency program rehearsal, co-curator of the collaborative artist publication prompt:, ideas editor at Art in America, and a regular contributor at Artforum, where she was previously an associate editor. Her studio work involves laborious, critical engagements with language, material, and site and has been shown at Spencer Brownstone Gallery, Kunstverein Dresden, Lubov, NARS Foundation, Abrons Art Center, and many other spaces. Her publications are collected by MoMA Library, Barnard College Library, SVA Library, and other organizations; they are also available at bookstores such as Printed Matter and McNally Jackson. She is currently editing a book about solidarity and feminism in art criticism.
