Isabel Figueroa

Isabel "Isa" Figueroa is an arts administrator, creator, organizer, and educator born and raised in the Bronx. She has worked extensively in community engagement, arts education and environmental stewardship. They now serves as the Senior Manager of Youth Programs & Community Engagement at ICP. Isa is Co-founder of Siempre Contigo Inc., a not-for-profit providing direct aid to families in Puerto Rico affected by Hurricane Maria. Her artwork is an exploration of existence and identity. Clowns and crowns act as symbol and metaphor for humanity, self worth and value beyond vanity. Additionally, they curate as a way to highlight artists, artisans, performers, activists, and others in multigenerational and collaborative spaces for community celebration and dialogue. Isa received a BFA in Photography from St. John’s University and Certification in Creative Practice from the International Center of Photography.
