About A4’s Town Hall

Town Hall is A4’s bi-monthly community gathering event that features presentations, pitches, and power networking over a potluck meal. We welcome artists of all disciplines, as well as arts organizations, to share upcoming projects, find collaborators, or discover new opportunities in a lively space.

About PIFF

The Pacific Island Film Festival (PIFF) of New York City is an annual festival dedicated to telling a richer, more comprehensive story of the Pacific Islands. PIFF endeavors to be a platform for indigenous Pacific Island voices to be heard and recognized—celebrating, showcasing and cultivating the stories, art, talent and cultural resources of the Pacific Islands with the broader New York community.

About Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal and Settanant Thanakitkoses

Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal and Settanant Thanakitkoses are producers of The Last Breath of Sam Yan (2023), an award-winning documentary that follows the struggle to defend Bangkok’s Chao Mae Thapthim Shrine and the surrounding historic community from displacement by university-led redevelopment. Through intimate, real-time footage, the film chronicles a battle over land, memory, faith, and the right to remain. More than a story about one shrine, it reveals the broader tensions between institutional power and local communities in contemporary Thailand, and speaks to similar struggles unfolding in cities around the world.
