The black-and-white images in this exhibition are drawn from over 40 years spent by Gertrude Blom living among and documenting the contrasting cultures of two Mayan peoples of Chiapas, Mexico. Curated by Alex Harris and Margaret Sartor. Organized by the International Center of Photography, New York, and the Center for Documentary Photography, Duke University.
