Eadweard Muybridge and Contemporary American Photography
The exhibition presents a collection of images by the preeminent nineteenth-century photographer and includes works from Eadweard Muybridge's seminal studies of movement as well as the photographs of many contemporary photographers inspired by him. Co–curated by Jock Reynolds, Director Addison Gallery and James L. Sheldon, Photography Curator, Addison Gallery. This exhibition has been organized by the Addison Gallery of American Art at Phillips Academy.
