Clarke used the images taken by EMT Mikey Flowers of the chaotic scene around the World Trade Center on 9/11 for portraits of people who survived the attacks or who were involved in the rescue effort. Clarke creates unique portraits, often overlaying an image with a DNA sequence taken from the blood of one of his subjects. Curated by Carol Squiers.
