Join Magnum photographer Peter van Agtmael and ICP Curator Cynthia Young for a walkthrough of the exhibition We Went Back: Photographs from Europe 1933–1956 by Chim, on view through May 5.

Peter van Agtmael has extensively documented the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2006. He is a Magnum photographer who has contributed to TIME, The New Yorker, and The New York Times. He is the recipient of ICP's 2011 Infinity Award for Young Photographer and the 2012 W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography. Read his post about Chim on The New York Times LENS blog.

As the curator of the Robert Capa Archive at ICP, Cynthia Young organized the ICP exhibition We Went Back: Photographs from Europe 1933–1956 by Chim and edited the accompanying catalogue. She is also the author of The Mexican Suitcase: The Rediscovered Spanish Civil Negatives of Capa, Chim, and Taro.
