In this session of ICP Talks: Lessons and Insights in Photography, join Nayland Blake, renowned artist and chair of the ICP-Bard Program in Advanced Photographic Studies (MFA), for three lectures on channeling creativity that will explore:

  • How do you establish a daily practice for art-making and how do you set-up systems that allow for continued exploration, inspiration, and flexibility?
  • Can you overcome creative block and the pressures of expectation, success, or opinion?
  • What does living with creativity look like and how do your surroundings inspire you or others?
  • And how does living a creative lifestyle manifest in various facets of the art community?

In these three sessions, Blake will discuss their strategies for jumpstarting creativity and living with creativity, and in the final session, Creativity in Conversation, Blake will be joined by ICP’s David Campany for a candid discussion about their mutual expanded creative practices in teaching and curating.

All lectures are scheduled to take place from 1 to 2 PM EST. Tickets are $35 for general audience and $30 for ICP members and give access to the three-part series.
