Join us for a week-long photography camp at ICP especially designed for curious kids ages 6-11 who love art and photography. No prior skill or experience is required. This immersive 5-day camp combines hands-on art activities with inspiration from ICP’s exhibitions, Edward Burtynsky: The Great Acceleration and Sheida Soleimani: Panjereh.
What to expect
Museum Adventures: Explore the stories behind ICP’s exhibitions, Edward Burtynsky: The Great Acceleration and Sheida Soleimani: Panjereh. Learn about photo techniques both photographers adopted, and how they use visuals to storytelling about their personal stories and protect the environment.
Hands-On Learning: Through photography-related activities, inspired by ICP’s exhibitions, kids will express their creativity through hands-on crafts including cyanotype printing, image transfer techniques, collage making, sticker creation, and more.
Special Presentation: The camp will conclude with a special presentation open to families, where young imagemakers can showcase their work and share their good time!
