Gianni Berengo Gardin

Gianni Berengo Gardin is one of the great authors of Italian photography. For more than fifty years he has been recounting the transformation of our country and of contemporary society with an honest and concerned view. In this film, beginning with Venice, Berengo Gardin recalls past experiences as well as his many reports, such as those on the psychiatric institutes, the 1968 movement, the gypsies. All of this, always with deep respect, and considering the eye, heart and mind equally important.
