Course description: Cataloged Responses: Archives and Libraries as Laboratories. The objective of the class was to expand the artists-librarian dialog. Artists and librarians wrestle with the ideas of distribution, audience access and preservation. This class was a conversation about how the art and science of organization and access provide a well-spring of possibilities for the artist to think in new ways about the library, the archives and the catalog and an opportunity to engage meaningfully with it.
