Presented as a story by Amelia Earhart about her travels and her "talent for being an eyewitness," this Kodak advertisement combines images of Earhart at home reading a book with ones of Earhart holding her plane's propeller. According to Earhart, pictures "are stabilizers on a shifting world and tend to keep records straight and memories fresh. The pleasure I might have felt as a child in having my picture taken has been somewhat dulled latterly through facing too many lenses. However, standing behind my own Ciné-Kodak directed at others is still a very real part of 'the fun of it'!"
