Vienna’s historic Ferris wheel, the Prater Riesenrad, is one of the oldest in Europe. Located in the Prater amusement park in Leopoldstadt, the former Jewish district of Vienna populated largely by eastern European Jewish immigrants who flooded into the city after World War I, it is now the heart of the city’s red-light district.
